Pam Stearns, MBA, CPA & CDFA
Pam Stearns is founder of Navigating Wealth, a Financial Planning and Wealth Coaching firm in Greensboro, North Carolina. Navigating Wealth specializes in working with women. Pam's expertise is the blending of Interior and Exterior Finance, integrating behavioral attitudes that often drive success or failure around money and merging this with traditional aspects of wealth planning. She blends Interior Wealth (dreams, road blocks, aspirations and core values) with Exterior Wealth (strategies and financial tactics).
Pam is on the advisory boards of Women, Meaning & Money® and Sudden Money® Institute. She is also a certified Advanced Financial Life Planner. Her recent articles include the Secret Worries of Successful Women and she is currently appearing on a nationwide PBS TV Series with Susan Bradley, Women in Transition.
Pam has her Economics degree from UCLA and an MBA from the University of California. She is both a CPA and CDFA (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst) and soon will have completed the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) program . She has over twenty years experience in the financial arena and has worked with numerous Fortune 500 and Big Four accounting firms. She left the corporate world to follow her own dream - that of educating and empowering women to achieve financial confidence and personal clarity. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), NAPFA ("fee only" National Association of Personal Financial Advisors) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Pam is a frequent guest speaker at conferences, nonprofits and in industry.
Pam is also passionately involved with many nonprofit board, including Greensboro's Women to Women's Endowment Fund, Hospice, Junior League, Symphony Guild and Peninsula Center for the Blind. She also loves traveling and outdoor sports and was recently featured in a series of articles by the American Sailing Association.
